Ivy Web Co. is a family business run by siblings Benjamin and Sibley Shippen in Tallahassee, Florida. We build custom websites for businesses and professionals who want to look as good online as they are in person.
Benjamin is a mechanical engineer (EIT) who designs HVAC systems for large commercial buildings. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida, built FE Mech Prep from scratch, and handles the code and technical side of every project.
Sibley holds a B.S. in Economics with a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Florida State University, where she graduated cum laude. She's proficient in Excel, Stata, SAS, and Canva, and she leads strategy and client relationships for every project.
Benjamin first wrote code to solve his own problem: he wanted a better, free way for engineering students to study for the FE exam, so he built one. FE Mech Prep now helps students across the country, and UCF's EXCEL STEM program shares it with its students.
Then a Tallahassee CPA asked if we could fix his cluttered website. He loved the result so much he launched it on a second domain. Now we do this together, for businesses and individuals who want something better than a template.
